Today featured the 2nd annual solar eclipse for this year, the total phase was observed by the Aussies and the dolphins of the pacific ocean. The previous one happened on the 10th of May 2013 and its total phase was observed by the citizen of equatorial Africa and of course, the dolphins of the North Atlantic.
As for Lebanon, the total eclipse wasn't visible and peak 20% at 15:58. Below are some of my shots captured from Bhannes (North Matn).
@ 15:20 - Moon at first eclipse phases
@ 15:58 - Maximum moon penetration in the sun's edge
@ 16:01 - The moon preparing to leave the sun's edge
@ 16:09 - The moon starting to leave the sun shadow
